Strata Hockey

FAQ

Ordering & Pricing

How does 2 for $395 work?

Add any two Strata sticks to your cart (any models, flexes, curves or hands) and the price drops to $395 automatically at checkout. It applies per pair: 2 sticks are $395, 4 sticks are $790. A single extra stick is $215.

Why is a Strata stick $215 when top sticks cost more?

We sell direct, skip pro endorsements and keep marketing lean. That's the whole trick: high-end build, without the big-brand markup.

Do you do team orders?

Yes. Fill out the team order form with your roster and we'll send a quote, usually within 1–2 business days.

Picking a Stick

Which model should I get?

X-Line and V1 Pro are low kick: they load near the blade for a quick release on wristers and snapshots. S6 is mid kick: it loads higher in the shaft for more power on slappers and one-timers. Take the 5-question stick finder or compare all three.

What flex do I need?

A common starting point is about half your body weight in pounds, then go lower for more whip or higher if you lean hard into your shots. See the stick guide.

How long are the sticks?

55 and 65 flex sticks are 64 inches. 70 flex sticks are 67 inches. Cutting a stick down makes it a little stiffer.

Left or right?

If your right hand is on top of the stick and your left hand is lower, you shoot left. If your left hand is on top, you shoot right.

What curves do you carry?

P28 and P92, the two most-played patterns. X-Line comes in P92; S6 and V1 Pro come in both. The V1 Pro is right-hand only for now.

How does a Strata compare to the big brands?

We describe each model's feel by comparison to sticks players already know: X-Line feels similar to a Bauer FlyLite, S6 to a CCM Jetspeed and V1 Pro to a CCM Trigger. Strata Hockey isn't affiliated with Bauer or CCM; the names are only used to describe feel.

Shipping & Returns

How much is shipping?

US orders ship for $21.99 and Canadian orders for $40, both tracked. Details on the shipping page.

Do you ship outside the US?

Yes, to Canada only for now. Canadian customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, tariffs and brokerage fees. They aren't included in our prices or shipping and are usually collected by the carrier at delivery.

Can I return a stick?

All sales are final, so we don't offer refunds. If your stick arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, we'll replace it at no cost. See returns and exchanges.

Can I exchange for a different flex or curve?

Yes, if the stick is brand new (no tape, no ice or floor use, not cut). Email us within 3 days of delivery and we'll swap it for the same model in the flex or curve you want, if it's in stock. You pay shipping both ways.

Is there a warranty?

Not right now. Strata sticks are sold without a warranty.
